In the appliance industry, the curing condition of the pure polyester powder coatings which the Gree previously used during the production is 200°/10min. After the initiative recommendation and repeated verification of Kinte during 2005-2006, all the powder coatings Gree used have been replaced to those with the curing condition of 180°/10min since 2006. Because of this, the Gree headquarter can save about 5 million RMB energy cost per year. Counting its OEM plant in, the energy saving can be up to as high as 15 million RMB.

Kinte has developed 170°/10min low temperature powder coating since 2010. By the end of 2012, this kind of powder coating has been placed in mass production. By calculating, the Gree headquarter can save 3 million energy cost per year, the equivalent of 1000 RMB energy-saving for every one ton powder coating. At present, both sides are discussing the verification and development of 160°/10min low temperature curing powder coating.
