The company began to research the environment adaptability of industrial products from 1958, exposure field is Guangzhou natural environmental test station. This state-level atmospheric corrosion test station of the national total of 13, our company has 2, respectively located in Guangzhou and Hainan of Qionghai. Guangzhou station is engaged in research on atmospheric corrosion test of a humid subtropical climate, Hainan station is engaged in the atmospheric corrosion test of a wet tropics inland climate, which are dedicated to the automotive, electronic appliances and so on, focus on the development of material, product, equipment aging, corrosion and other environmental adaptability research.

Since 1983, the two station became the “ National field of material environment corrosion of scientific observation and research station network” of a subtropical humid environment, hot and humid environment point atmospheric exposure test field, and since then has been responsible for the key projects of the national natural science foundation committee.“Used materials are atmosphere, sea water, soil corrosion test”of a subtropical humid, hot and humid climate research work of corrosion test.

Our institute is the first domestic to carry out international comparison test of climate test mechanism, Guangzhou station and Qionghai station since 2002 started with the America Atlas climate services group, the Japanese climate test center(JWTC), South Korea climate test and evaluation center (KWTEC), European society of coating and coating industry quality control to conduct exchanges and cooperation, and become the only designated service agencies of America Atlas climate services group of environment climate test in the China.

Guangzhou station total area 11,000㎡, outdoor test zone area of 8000㎡, Qionghai station covers an area of 50,000 square meters, existing exposure area of about 20,000㎡.
